Where in El Salvador is this located?

Mizata is a beuatiful area on the southwest coast of El Salvador. It takes about an hour and half to get to from the capital city San Salvador (which is where the airport it). This area is not touristy, nor is it chaotic. While not far from Tunco, a more happening area, Mizata is a very tranquil and calming atmosphere

Does my payment include flights?

Your payment does NOT include flights to and from El Salvador. It does, however, include just about everything else, including transportation from the airport. The only additional things you’ll pay for will be any things you choose to purchase from local stores or additional food/drink from our normal 3 meals per day + snack table.

How do I get to and from the airport? What do I pack?

Once your deposit is paid, we will send detailed instructions for everything you might need to know. Including cultural customs, packing list, transportation details, etc. Our goal is to take away any and all travel hassle and logistics.

I have no yoga experience, can I still come?

Of course! As long as you’re willing to learn and explore, no previous experience is required.

If I have food allergies/preferences, is that a problem?

Nope! We can accommodate just about any eating style out there. Don’t sweat about it, just make sure you communicate this in your application so we can prepare.

Will all of the activities be required?

The way we see this is YOUR experience. We are here to facilitate the most impactful retreat for you. That being said, you know what you need way more than we do. While we encourage you to participate in all workshops, sessions, and activities - this is entirely up to you. Note: we do make personal time a priority during your week.

What is the price? Are there discounts or other ways to reduce the cost?

Early bird pricing is $2,100. Our goal was to make this retreat as accessible as possible. We will work with you to design a payment plan that works best for you. In addition, 10% discount is offered if you refer someone who ends up coming (up to 20%)

How many people will be there?

There are only 15 spots on the Peaceful Warrior Retreat. That means limited space is available. Our recommendation - don’t procrastinate your application! Reserve your spot today

What will the sleeping arrangements be?

You’ll sleep in a beach side bungalow with either 1 or 2 roommates. The spaces are designed to fit 3-4, so you’ll have ample room to move around and not be in each other’s way.

What is Blue Marble?

Blue Marble is the host company behind Peaceful Warrior. We are a mission driven company creating experiences and telling stories that awaken the human spirit. This retreat is hosted by Blue Marble’s founders, Fletcher Barnes and Henry Davis.

Why are you creating this experience?

We believe deeply that stepping outside of our daily rhythm is incredibly helpful for gaining fresh perspective and growing into the person we desire. This passion met its location after Fletch spent a month working and teaching classes at Mizata. When Henry came down to visit, the planning for Peaceful Warrior began.
